6th Grade Students:
We are excited to have you all thinking about chorus at Dodgen. We recognize that many of you already know that you want to be a part of the Dodgen Chorus and some of you haven’t quite made up your mind. We hope that you will ask Ms. Scott and Mr. Whitt questions as you rotate around to the chorus room but we also encourage you to talk with people that have made chorus a part of their middle school lives. We strive to make chorus a place where all students can learn to read music and have fun making music with everyone. We hope that you will join us and help us to continue excellence with Dodgen Chorus.
7th and 8th Grade Chorus Students:
Welcome back to another great year of chorus. We are excited about making this year the best one yet! On the first day of class we handed out a Blanket Permission Form, Calendar Dates for the year, and we shared about our very fast approaching Braves Spirit Night. This year, we want ALL money coming in for chorus events to first come to Mr. Whitt or Ms. Scott. We will make a note of the amount of money for the specific event and then have the students turn the money, in the CCSD Money Envelope, into the black box.
Please make sure that students (if permitted) and a parent are receiving Remind notifications. We don’t send weekly notifications but do send out information about deadlines and events. Reminders of these can help in our busy lives. We also are on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and we encourage people to follow us there too.
Please feel free to email either Mr. Whittington (email@example.com) or Ms. Scott (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you ever have any questions. Our email system has been known to send some emails to SPAM so if you haven’t heard from us within 24 hours, feel free to try again or send in a note with your child.
